The Senior Designer is well practiced in the craft of design and is a creative visionary. They are a seasoned professional, a leader and a brilliant collaborator with an undeniable passion for everything visual.
Responsibilities Include:
Production of daily design, branding & advertising projects
Working with the client services team on all creative projects - including budgeting, liaising with
vendors & presenting to clients when necessary
Participation in team strategy & brainstorming activities
Assisting in the guidance & development of junior staff
Acting as team leader
Researching & staying current with various trends & technical advances as relative to design,
marketing & Mac-based softwares
Required Skills:
Design-related degree
No less than five years of professional design experience, with at least two years in an agency environment
(international experience is preferred)
A portfolio that shows a diverse range of realised projects, as well as design innovation
Demonstrated skills in setting typography
Proven experience in the design of all print communications, including corporate collateral & editorial layouts
Demonstrated web design and development experience
Demonstrated understanding of branding and its applications
Experience in developing advertising campaigns, including copy writing abilities
Excellent print production knowledge & press experience
More than competent in Mac-based software packages, including Adobe CS5
Excellent presentation skills with experience in articulating creative ideas to team & clients
A strong eye for photography and experience in art directing photoshoots
Ability to think fast and act faster
Creative experience in working with social media and digital platforms
